The Mountain House

We just finished our first week at our new job: Presbyterian Home for Children
Here is a picture of what Aidan refers to as the "mountain house". He now has a lake house and a mountain house. We tell him all the time he is lucky two have to fun homes.
(the bottom right corner is a rip stick, a crazy contraption!)
Down the path is a gym where all kinds of activities take place throughout the day. This picture also shows our neighbors. Aidan's new and upcoming friend lives there: Assa, a four year old boy who is smaller than Aidan
Here is the transportation!
Blackberry bushes grow behind our house. Check out the mountain view.
Mike is in HEAVEN!

The softball field with the mountains in the background. Along with softball, we have a sand volleyball court, basketball court, soccer field and challenge course. There is a lot to do on campus!
One of two playgrounds on campus
The gazebo. This past week, the residents shot off rockets from outside of the gazebo. Aidan thought it was cool to watch them shoot off, deploy and watch the residents chase after them in hopes of catching it. Aidan even got to shoot one off.

With the first week under our belts, we can definitely say this is going to be a great opportunity for us to love the boys in our care, spend some quality time with Aidan and Jackson, and fulfill Mike's dream of living in the mountains! (he is already looking at buying land!)

A Visit to the Schriefers

Mom and Jackson went to Toledo to visit Grandma and Grandpa Schriefer (& Katie)
Here are some close up shot of my brother's face for aunt Dee and then a Schriefer family photo at the bottom

A Warnock Update

I still LOVE baseball! Here I am showing mom and dad how a catcher is suppose to stand.

I wanted to try to feed Jackson. I have picked up more than mom and dad would have imagined me picking up at age 2 1/2.
I like being a BIG brother!

The little man himself (although he is not so little)
